About Maple Leaf Diner
Maple Leaf Diner has been a Dallas staple for over 10 years and is one of the highest-reviewed restaurants in DFW. We have won many awards, been featured on several TV shows and in countless online articles, and welcomed amazing guests.
Mike’s grandparents began his family’s journey into the restaurant business in 1967 in Belle River, Ontario, Canada. Maple Leaf Diner opened in September 2015 after owner Michael Delaurier, an experienced restaurateur and Windsor, Ontario native, couldn’t find food in his wife’s hometown of Dallas that felt like home.
Maple Leaf Diner features traditional diner favorites with a sprinkle of Mike’s Canadian classics, including poutine (hand-cut French fries topped with cheese curds and smothered in house-made beef gravy), Canadian peameal bacon (the real Canadian bacon), butter tarts, and Nanaimo bars, along with requested Southern favorites such as chicken, bacon, and waffles.
