Job Summary:

As a Host/Hostess, you are the first impression of Fanzo. You’ll greet guests warmly, manage reservations and waitlists, and ensure a smooth flow of seating to support an outstanding guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Key Responsibilities: Guest Greeting & Seating
• Welcome guests with a warm, friendly demeanor
• Manage guest check-in, waitlists, and reservations using POS or host software
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
• Reservation & Waitlist Management
• Keep track of table rotations and server sections
• Communicate estimated wait times clearly and courteously
• Handle guest inquiries with professionalism
• Atmosphere & Ambience
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand
• Monitor dining room, bar, and lounge flow to ensure guests are seated efficiently
• Assist with special seating requests, VIP guests, and large parties
• Team Communication
• Coordinate with servers, bartenders, and management to keep service smooth
• Help organize high-volume nights (game days, karaoke, private events)
• Support servers or bussers if needed during peak hours
