Job Description
As the chef, you’ll take complete responsibility for every plate that gets served and the overall direction of the menu. You’ll be expected to innovate and iterate on the menu to provide creative, quality food while meeting profit goals. You will be responsible for hiring and supervising the kitchen staff and coaching employees on consistency, technique and skills.
Responsibilities
- • Lead the kitchen during service: cook, expedite, manage the flow
- • Oversee prep, ordering, inventory, and food safety
- • Manage food and labor costs
- • Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and efficient
- • Work with ownership to evolve the menu and introduce new ideas
